Project Title - Improvement of the ground-water heat pump efficiency
Project summary - On April 24, 2020, the company Frigo Plus d.o.o. signed a Contract with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts for the allocation of an innovation voucher for the implementation of the project titled "Improvement of the ground-water heat pump efficiency," contract reference K.K.03.2.2.03.0074, within the Call for Project Proposals INNOVATION VOUCHERS FOR SMEs. The project implementation is co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds in the financial period 2014-2020.
The project includes a service provided by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture from Zagreb in the field of measuring the performance of the heat pump during operation and optimizing the control mode of the compressor with frequency speed regulation to improve the efficiency of the ground-water heat pump.
The targeted groups of the project are the company's employees, clients, suppliers, heating and cooling equipment designers, and the general public.
As part of the project, a modification of the existing prototype of the ground-water heat pump with a natural working substance (product of the company Frigo Plus d.o.o.) was made by introducing frequency regulation of the compressor's performance to increase the efficiency of the heat pump in a natural environment. The project includes collaboration with a scientific research organization.
The project results are:
- Transfer of technical knowledge and validated measured data and testing reports to Frigo Plus d.o.o. companies,
- Increased capacity of the company in the development and innovation of its products,
- Expanded company's offer with an improved series of products.
